valve stem replacement without removing tyre - max - 01-08-2021 Whilst buying 90 degree valves for the cb919 i looked at some video's on how to install them, i then found this valve stem that you can replace without removing the tire. I did have a valve stem fail on a BMW years ago. At least it wasn't a sudden release causing loss of control. This would have come in handy! RE: valve stem replacement without removing tyre - pekingduck - 01-08-2021 I can imagine there may be emergency instances where a valve stem is damaged, like a lock/chain left in place, or sabotage, and this would be a good emergency fix, But I personally would not trust it as it relies on compressing the rubber in a way that might cause a split or crack. I feel the same as you , alright on heavy duty equipment going at a lower speed, different on a bike going 70-80 mph.
