Taillight/Signal Connector Types - AzBob_imp - 11-08-2013 Wondering if anyone here knows what type of connector the two turn signal (2p) and the taillight (3p) connectors under the seat are (i.e. model numbers/model types/whatever) so I can order them to do a nice install for the lights for my top box. I'd rather not just tap the wires because that's ugly; I'd prefer to fab up a harness using the OEM connectors so I can take it apart later if want to without any remnant. RE: Taillight/Signal Connector Types - ron1100_imp - 11-08-2013 Posi-taps? RE: Taillight/Signal Connector Types - AzBob_imp - 11-08-2013 (11-08-2013, 06:15 AM)ron1100_imp Wrote: Posi-taps? Need to shrink wrap the wire after you take them off or else you leave a hole in the wire. I'll figure out the part number one of these days. Hopefully soon. OK, I found them. They're .050" two and three pin connectors. They are orange and blue for our bikes (and most Hondas) indicating left and right (not sure which is which, yet). You can get them here, should anyone else need to connect anything up to their rear (I believe front, as well) turn signals/brake light (the signals are the two pin connectors, and the brake light is the three): http://easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/050_Connectors/050_connectors.html. RE: Taillight/Signal Connector Types - ron1100_imp - 11-09-2013 Good to know. Thank you. |
