battery tender cable hook up - ss2wheels_imp - 04-29-2014

Under the left side cover is a little black cover over 2 cables my test light tells me that the one with the yellow fuse is pos and green fuse is neg, is this where to hook up battery tender lead?

Don't you connect it directly to the battery? Thats how I did mine.

Yea thats fine but I think this way is ok too. Trying to see if anyone did it this way?

The harness comes with it's own fuse and is meant to be connected directly to the battery.

Tender & heated gear should be hooked up straight to the battery.

And there is a hole in the right rear fender which is a natural place to poke the connection out of.

Maybe that hole is intended to be a vent for battery gasses? As you stated, I cannot see it being critical for breathing.
