For you guys that change your own tires, you know they have to be balanced again. I change my own tires and this way of balancing would make life a lot easier, but I don't know a lot about it. What do some of you tire changers think? http://checkeredflagtirebalancebeads.com/

I used balance beads on my Goldwing. Ran the tires for over 10,000 miles no problems at all. Will do it again if necessary.Thumbs Up

I own a Marc Parnes balancer. Simple, compact, accurate.

Personalty, I would trust the beads.

I used the beads one time. I had very poor results. When I decided to replace the tires, I found the beads were all static charged and were very hard to get off the rims so not to contaminate the new tire. I cannot see how they would ever freely move around in the tire if they were evenly distributed over the rim and inside the tire when I took it off. They acted like Styrofoam beads. I still find them in my garage at times.

I have been using DynaBeads on my 2001 Triumph Bonneville Tube Type wheels since 2008 and am quite happy with the tire wear pattern observed so far. Below is the link:
