New Power Commander FC - Mad Max_imp - 04-01-2014 Hello, anyone knows anything about the new Power Commander FC (EFC16040)? ![]() In Italy, it will cost about 41% less than the classic Power Commander V (E16-040) and, apparently, do the same things.
RE: New Power Commander FC - The Spaceman_imp - 04-02-2014 Here's the info: http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander/Products/PCFC/powercommander_pcfc.aspx And here's the one for the CB: http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander/powercommanders.aspx?mk=19&mdl=608&yr=2013&pc=16-040&mk-n=Honda&mdl-n=CB1100&pc-ver=PCV&add-mdlyrid=16-040&add-mdlyrid2=FC16040&fullstr=FC1604016-040&prod-type=PCFCPowercommander V&notes=91, It appears the major difference is that you cannot program it via PC, which also suggests you can't program it on the fly when doing dyno runs. However, if you have maps already, it could work. At $250 plus shipping (MSRP, actual prices from distributors may be lower), that's quite a savings over the standard unit. The difference is that you can adjust carburation on the fly without a PC, simply tuning the knobs with a screwdriver. I think the main different feature is that the PCFC unit does not work with any of the PCV accessories (SFM, ignition module, shifter, LCD). ![]() RE: New Power Commander FC - Red Mist_imp - 04-02-2014 This thing looks pretty cool. Price is more in line with what the market is demanding. An ECU reflash is about the same $$ or more, but will do a lot more. But if ya just want to do the air filter and slip-on, your $250 gets you optimization and peace of mind. A dyno run after would be a good idea. RE: New Power Commander FC - HondaJon_imp - 04-03-2014 $250? You can get a PC V from Motomummy.com for $269. RE: New Power Commander FC - Guth_imp - 04-03-2014 So then I wonder what motomummy will be selling the FC model for? RE: New Power Commander FC - Mad Max_imp - 04-03-2014 Here, PCV is for 339,00 € and PCFC for 199,00 €.
RE: New Power Commander FC - HondaJon_imp - 04-03-2014 Good point Guth. My guess is $150.. Dennis Kirk, not moomommmummy. RE: New Power Commander FC - caddy425_imp - 08-14-2017 (04-01-2014, 08:41 PM)Mad Max_imp Wrote: Hello, anyone know if it gets rid of the speed limiter?? |
