Advice needed - Spiderwatts_imp - 10-20-2017 I love this bike. It is beautiful in black and the overall quality of fit and finish on this bike is stunning. I have a Yoshimura slip on for a little extra sound. And thanks to this forum a K&H high seat coming from Japan in next few weeks. The seat to peg distance is ok but my long legs need more distance. Hopefully the taller/firmer seat will help. Tonight I removed the rubber covers on the rider footpegs. It will give me about 1/2 inch more room and will help my ankle angle with the rear brake pedal. Multiple ankle injuries make bending my ankle challenging. I thought about getting an extra set of extra passenger pegs and using them to replace the standard rider pegs. The knurled surface on them looks good and overall the passenger pegs are very high quality. Any recommendations or advice is welcome. Thanks. RE: Advice needed - Houtman_imp - 10-20-2017 I have put the Vario foot pegs from Germany on my CB 1100's They are 360 degree adjustable , very well made but not the cheapest. Advice needed - chync_imp - 10-21-2017 +1 on the adjustable pegs. I use them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Advice needed - Houtman_imp - 10-21-2017 There is a cheap set for sale on the Forum , buy them quickly ! RE: Advice needed - pdedse - 10-21-2017 Spiderwatts, I'm near 6'4" and feel a little bunched up with stock seat. But I dislike spending $$$ on a new seat when it's not the seat that's the problem, it's the height...as in mine. I have a kneeling pad--fairly firm foam--that's about 2" thick and I set that on my seat, then bought a $20 mc seat pad that has straps that go under the seat and gives another 3/4 inch of thickness. When the seat straps are tightened down (they go under the seat) it holds the kneeling pad in place. Overall, it gives me about 2.5" higher ride, and makes long distances do-able--I rode OR-to midwest and back and the increased leg room saved my hips and knees. The only drawback was that it pushed my legs out a little wider than normal, but once I got used to that, no problem. Ok, visually, it's not perfect, but if people are looking that close while I'm riding...then they've got other issues. Found a photo RE: Advice needed - HondaJon_imp - 10-21-2017 The K and H seat will make a big difference. I did see this in the FOR SALE section (Lower Pegs) http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=11647 RE: Advice needed - Spiderwatts_imp - 10-21-2017 Thanks for info!
