FRONT BRAKE TIGHTER - omnimj_imp - 08-24-2022 I changed the brake fluid on my 2014 CB1100 and the front brake lever has some travel but not as much as I think it should. It seems "tighter" than it should be. Is that normal when put the fresh oil? I checked the manual, which discusses the adjustment wheel (1-5) but this adjustment doesn't seem to help. Any advice? RE: FRONT BRAKE TIGHTER - Lord Popgun - 08-24-2022 Normally when any vehicle gets a brake flush and bleed the system gets tighter. Especially if there was any air in the lines. Like my rear brake had from the factory. RE: FRONT BRAKE TIGHTER - 1985CB450_imp - 09-08-2022 yes bleeding the brake system will firm up the lever as air is purged from the system. the adjustment wheel on the lever simply moves the lever closer or farther from the bar depending on rider preference. |
