2017 tube type tires - Mafd2_imp - 02-08-2023

So, where are you guys getting your tube type 18" tires for the 2017? Any options or other brands? Thanks

Some members of '17EX converted their rims to tubeless and ditched the tubes forever.
Best option IMHO.

Are you running tubes in them or have your wheels sealed for tubeless tires?

A major topic at ADV forums.

Alain Lee here at the CB1100 Forum has a 2017 CB1100 model (or later?, ... I believe) and he has successfully converted his laced rims to tubeless using the Outex kit. His years of tours has been significant on the converted rims.

I also use the Outex kit on my spoked rims. So far so good.

Others have used the Outex kit too. Aussieflyer, for example.

Someone asked about this the other day and got advice that running tubes in tubeless tyres was fine.
