The loud cover's blowing away and the final warm ups are complete. The drivers have done their parade lap and Moto3 is 20 minutes or so away. MotoGP just over 3 hours. Your correspondents have made a manful effort to put aside last night's vicissitudes and struggle to Lukey Heights to watch the action. Pterodactyl is the one with the baseball cap and scarf on his head. Sadly no pictures today: got the dreaded "battery exhausted" message last night and my tent doesn't have a charger. ![]() In the interests of not spoiling anyone's fun, there'll be no further reporting today. Australian MotoGP Sunday a.m. - Cormanus - 10-18-2014 It was pretty amazing. As it turned out we witnessed a couple of offs. No spoiler, but it's well worth watching. Feel privileged to have attended Rossi's 250th MotoGP start. A couple of not brilliant phone photos. A 1912 (I think) Indian doing a lap to mark 100 years of Australian Moto GPs. Marquez looked good until....the kid was flying Rossi looked excellent and showed what a champion he is. I'm beginning to wonder about Lorenzo Dani...what a shame. Looks like 4th in the Championship this year is the best you can do. Poor Crutchlow..last lap..arrgghhh Poor Espargaro brothers...felt sorry for them |
