RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - Guhl Motors_imp - 09-15-2014 ![]() Here is the dyno graph of the before and after ECU reflash that everyone has been asking for. This bike was totally stock except for the slip-on muffler. The muffler was installed for both dyno runs, so the difference is only the ECU reflash. Let us know if you have any questions. The raw #s may not be super impressive, but it's great to see those solid gains across the entire rev range. Don, thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!! From your experience, how would these results be impacted by using an exhaust system that eliminates the catalytic converter? Is that something you're able to intelligently "guess" at, in terms of A/F ratios? Or would you need to have the bike on the dyno to get a solid result? Thanks again!! grover Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - Firstfour_imp - 09-15-2014 Thanks and welcome, Don. It seems Honda didn't leave too too much on the table; and at the same time, for those owners looking for a bit of "extra", in a fairly cost-effective, non labor-intensive way, it is a nice bump.
RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - CIP57_imp - 09-15-2014 Hey Don, Thanks for posting. Where was his A/F ratio?? I was wondering if the best results where just above the red line or 13.2 My graph seems to produce more torque just above there. Steve Grover, ill post my dyno run & A/F ratio's when i get home and have a chance to scan it and post. I believe i was at about 86/87 HP with the full Yoshi and flashed ecu. RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - kDiqq_imp - 09-15-2014 CIP, who flashed your ECU? ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - grover_imp - 09-15-2014 (09-15-2014, 08:43 AM)kDiqq_imp Wrote: CIP, who flashed your ECU? Don Guhl did CIP's as well, but without having the bike on a dyno to fine tune it. The A/F ratio is almost spot on, running a bit rich on top. The bike runs much cooler with the added fuel. I shared this with Don when i had a dyno run done a few months ago, there is more HP to be found. The bike runs so well i just never got around to going down. Hope this is helpful. Mileage gains? RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - HikerToo_imp - 09-22-2014 Yes, still very happy, running great. Sunday made a top speed run to make sure I could get above 112MPH without cutting off I was around 125MPH when I ran out of road, nerve, etc. link to lousy video attempt at trying to capture it on my iPhone, will try again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVYzkM5vpWI Then today( Monday ) I had a day off and took the time to do my longest ride ever on the CB, edged on by some Lancaster Amish style roads that peaked my interest after visiting Guhls up in this area. Ran great, think I was even getting 55 MPG compared to my usual 50 when I stay closer to home on shorter ride. This is missing about 70 miles of the exact ride since it was off and I thought it was battery problem. http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/596757709 |
