Here's my $.02. Dampen it.
Even if it's not touching your gauges, try putting the little rubber spacers or some innocuous item in between. Ditto anywhere else you think it will help. I'll wager the vibrating will cease.

Yes Stratus, you found me out-I stole the photo form EmptySea's ride report. I still haven't figured out how to post pictures (guess I'm just too lazy) but at least it 'is' my bike with the RC2! Big Grin

Sometimes the vibration can come from an unusual spot: the fairing actually is hitting the front top edge of the headlight trim ring at certain resonant frequencies. What you can do is to install some door edge trim around the inside of the headlight opening in the Road Comet fairing. Then reinstall the fairing making sure the top edge is snug up against the headlight. This looks clean and should take care of your problem.

This stuff is available in any auto parts store in both black and chrome and is self adhesive. It is the same stuff some guys put on the edging of the gas tank for looks.
