what kind of mount did you use for your cube?
I've done something similar with my Polaroid Cube+

An chest mount provides a good vantage point which includes the gauges and hand controls . Wearing the camera on your body helps to isolate it from the bumps to provide a steadier video. Got a GoPro chest mount yesterday at Walmart for the $39 list price. Hope to test it tomorrow.

the helmet broke where the camera was mounted
in the time since it's been determined anything mounted on a helmet of any type can cause a torque to the helmet or additional damage
most track day orgs now ban any helmet-mounted cam

Didn't know that. I know a lot of guys who still do this on the street -- definetely something to share with them.

That's very interesting. There's a continuing debate in Australia about the legality of mounting cameras on helmets.
