RE: Lubricating Chain Without Center Stand? - 4 Paws_imp - 07-30-2017 Used to use a scissors jack on my Ural when I needed to pull the rear tire, worked good but was a time consuming process. With a lighter weight bike I had I could pull on the right hand grip while the bike was on the side stand and lift the rear wheel to facilitate lubing. My 500 came without a center stand, before I added one I would put some cardboard down, spray part of the chain then roll forward and repeat. |
