RE: McCruise Cruise Control - Aussie_imp - 06-14-2014 FWIW, when I bought my VFR800 it had MCCRUISE control already set up on the bike. I can vouch for the product in that it worked very well for its intended purpose of long, straight highway riding. A nice experience!

RE: McCruise Cruise Control - Dude_imp - 04-27-2020 Im sure he might be willing to try and make a kit. The kawasaki 900rs has a kit for purchase. The company is giving you an electric actuator to operate the throttle cables, extra throttle cables, a bike specific wiring harness set to know speed / engine rpm / and other things and make everything communicate, a device to read engine vacuum, an ECU to control it all, a switch panel on the handlebars to control the ECU, and likely a significant amount of time invested in control algorithm coding to make it all work smoothly just like in a car. That's a lot of stuff, so while I wish the kits were cheaper too, I understand why they cost what they do.Count me in! |
