Ah thanks.

I have found Bridgestone T32’s in stock size and available near me

Hopefully I will get more km out of this tire than out of the previously used ones, which lasted round about 13.000km averagely. I guess I will, because the BTO23 has a totally different profil structure.

As for the rear tire I stay with the BT54F. I've mounted them and all of the used tires has been good for more than 26.000km. Maybe it's my riding style, which makes it possible. But not with the front tire til now. The engine may be too heavy to allow more km with the front BT54F and its profil. This may change now. Will see. Mostly I brake with the rear brake because of the CBS, which I like. So my braking style is not the case for the relative low amount of km compared to the rear tire.

I like the BT023 as a tyre, a good all rounder which has been around for a while. I'm currently at 9,600km on a pair of these on my Daytona 1200 which is a little lighter than the CB1100EX (to my surprise). I reckon the front will go to around 12K km to get to the wear indicator. I wouldn't be heavy on the brakes either. You don't have a choice on the Daytona anyway, they are rubbish! Big Grin The rear oddly has a bit more meat on it but is a bit squared off affecting handling which would prompt me to change prematurely.

A picture of BT023 showing the Profil structure.

Interesting profile, almost looks backwards. How do these tend to wear and handle?

When I look at the picture I also notice that the tire seems to be mounted backwards. While riding the CB I do not notice something unusual. The bike behaves the same as ridden with BT54F.

I will check out the arrow on the tire, it should show in the right direction. The tire was mounted by a motorbike mechanic, so it should be the case. If not, I will tell him and he has to redo his work.

No need to worry. After checking out the arrows on the front and rear tire, everything is right. The mechanic mounted the front tire correctly. Both point in the same forward rotating direction. I still wonder about the front profile but it should be this way. So what!

First picture shows the front tire and second the rear tire.
