Ohiorider, you could join the flow to Imgur or Postimage.

Thanks for the tip! I've signed up for Imgur, though haven't attempted to upload any pix yet.

I'll also be looking for a simple-to-use app that will allow me to move all the individual pix and albums I have stored on Photobucket to another host.

That would be a good find, although it would be better if it could go through this site and update all the links. The most infuriating thing about Photobucket's decision is that effectively all those photos have been lost.

Not only on this forum, but on any forums that used the IMG links to post individual pics. It's a mess.

Well, getting closer! I wimped and decided to let an independent shop install the Traxxion Dynamics fork kit. A good friend and riding buddy and I pulled the forks, and took them to the shop, after purchasing a new set of Honda fork seals and sliders (just in case.) I picked up the forks with kit installed this afternoon.

All that's left now is to reinstall the forks and the other vital parts, like the front brake calipers and wheel.

As I said before .... fingers crossed that this modification will work for me.

And even if not perfect on the first pass, there's still fork oil weight and adjustments to the RaceTech emulators that can be made. I suspect if I weighed 200-210 instead of 155-160 pounds, the suspension on the CB would have been more compliant for me. I've ridden and owned older Airhead Beemers that, though mushy, rode like a limo over bad roads. And these Beemers weighed less than the CB1100, so it isn't all about bike weight.

As of today:
20 Weight fork oil
125 mm below top of fork when fully compressed and prior to installing the spring (non progressive.)
stock spring and spacer replaced with kit parts.
stock damper rods replaced with kit dampers.

This is probably way more than anyone wants to read, but this is an informative link on damper rod forks vs those with emulators installed. May be propaganda! But a good read.

Probably took more time to write that post than to reinstall the forks/wheel/calipers. Very very simple quick job.

Does the post upset you? You know, you don't have to read it. How hard is it for you not to comment?

Yikes!! That's the last time I joke in your threads...

Sorry for my previous comment. I was obviously taking myself way too seriously.
