what happens if the bike stalls loading or unloading? It rains and the trailer floor turns slicker? Both?

Nightrider... good questions. But I think those issues would be worse if the angle of accent/descent is left as normal. The angle of the trailer floor with the truck on the lift is not an issue, it's the angle of the drop gate. With the truck on the lift, that angle is dramatically softened and now I can place both feet on the ground all the way through the process. I could not do that before. The issue was mainly at the bottom of the gate as the rear tire hits the ground and the front is still on the ramp. That part always lifted the middle of the bike higher off the ground than what is comfortable and that's where I think most accidents occur.
