If the stock ones from the stock seat are transferable then you should be able to just order them from Honda

Sounds like you've been doing fine without them, since your seat is secured at the front and rear anyway. Hondadawg1, does the seat feel loose or wobbly when you mount it?

You can definitely tell the difference between the two seats. I think you could nearly pick the bike off the ground with the stock seat but if you grab the cafe seat in the center and pull up, you can feel the flex in it. I could probably get along fine without it but I don't want to if I don't have to and could just find the parts. I know they exist, its just trying to find them is the challenge.

Gotcha! Well they are there for a reason. Luckily it doesn't sound like it'll stop you from enjoying your seat immediately (if you haven't already)

Mine wiggles a little from side to side when off the bike but on the bike no movement at all. I've never noticed it at all. No problems in the last two years. I've had a lot of bikes and if this was so far out of the norm for me I would have noticed.

I know what you mean by the stock seat not moving at all. Im going to see if those stock clips are transferable to the cafe seat now that it's on my mind. It never crossed my mind until I saw this thread.

Does it say somewhere to use the stock seat clips?? I wonder if they fit.

I can wiggle my stock seat quite a bit, but I dont see any way to make it any tighter.

I have searched everywhere I can think of and they are not depicted in any of the schematics I've found. I can swap them from my old seat but I would really like to keep it where I can just swap the seats back and forth without changing the clips everytime. Does anybody know where I can find them ?

I bet Takashi can help you. He works closely with a lot of Japanese aftermarket vendors. If you purchased from Webike I'd offer to pay him for new clips.

Yeah, with that reply I won't be bothering with Samurider again.

I don't see the problem with the response, especially considering English not being his primary language. What would have been a more helpful response for you?

I don't know, a simple "I'm sorry, we don't have those parts available" would have sufficed. I had already contacted Webike an they advised they didn't have them which was why I contacted Samurider in the first place. Maybe your right an its a translation thing but the respose just smacked of arrogance and like I offended them for asking.
