They make them in 2" OD diameter that will easily fit over our 41mm forks. They are cheap, about $5, and you can slide them off if you need to work on the forks.

I reckon the owner would just slit open the wrap, dispose of it, and put a new wrapper on after the fork job is done, or maybe before the fork job is done. Dodgy

Actually, I don't know. I am making an assumption it is some sort of heat shrink wrap, or possibly some low tack substrate.

Arguably, one could pay the owner to advertise their wears on the forks wrap (e.g. Monster Drink, Coca-Cola, Popeye's, Trojan, etc.) Smile
