Today is my day off and I've finally got time to tackle this project. Before I do would you mind letting me know how everything has held up so far? Also, what kind of paint did you use? It looks factory

Hey Chris,
So far so good, no problems at all. I used some enamel paint I had laying around. It is Rust-oleum Black Hi Temp BBQ Paint. Here is a link: http://www.rustoleum.com/en/product-catalog/consumer-brands/specialty/high-heat-brush-on
I didn't buy the hightemp specifically for this project but I'm sure it didn't hurt. We had a 80's looking fireplace in the living room and I bought this to paint out the gold/brass it had. I just brushed it on the exposed metal. I did three coats waiting till it wasn't tacky to the touch between coats. No matter what, the paint will be soft for a week or more till it cures. Just install it and it will harden, nothing is hitting it or the like. PM sent as well Good luck and let me know if I can help!

Bump. Anyone else do this mod or is there a new bracket out there for the 2014. Just found out the hard way that the bracket doesn't work on 2014s, had everything installed just to find the stand wouldn't go up then returned everything to stock after

Call Yoshimura they can send you a 2014 centerstand stop. If you have the receipt and bought new they will swap it out otherwise it's $45 for it. So up to you to do the mod or spend $45

Thanks, I'll call them. Unfortunately I already tried installing it just to find out after that it didn't work. Anyone want a 2013 center stand stop real cheap, just let me know.
Does anyone have a pic of the 2014 center stand stop. I'm just curious as to what it looks like and how its shaped. I can't find anything online about a 2014 stopper bracket.

I'm extreamly happy to say that I have resolved my problem. Two days ago I called yoshimura and ordered the bracket for the 2014 center stand. I live in N.Y. and received my bracket in 2 days from California. Installed the new bracket in 10 minutes. The bracket is super high quality and works perfectly. Its nicer made then the previous one. Got the exhaust installed and bike runs, sounds and looks awesome. Couldn't be more pleased with the customer service and shipping. It cost 45.00 plus 6 for shipping but well worth it. Saved me the time are effort of doing the mod. Half hour of overtime tonight will pay for the bracket, lol. Less time than if i did it myself.

Just about have all the parts to get the center stand on mine, as the PO took it off for this reason
