I must admit that the oil draining from the sump and the oil filter mount is actually is very clean on the CB1100. While on the center stand both drip nicely into the container.

Why use pee pads? Because past experience changing oil in different bikes I learned that hot engine oil runs out in unexpected directions. The CB1100 drains nice and neat.

Wish I had seen that before. I had to resort to the old screwdriver through the filter...ahh quite messy
