It would just come out the vent tube. Based on the orientation of your bike in your photo I'm surprised that the fuel doesn't just pour out of the filler cap! Now look what you've done. RWD's taken his avatar photo down. And I went to all the trouble of fixing it for him. Too funny! Yes my pic was upside down, so I decided to delete it today. No matter what I did it was upside down, I even edited the photo to be upside down on my camera roll hoping that when I uploaded it here, that it would flip it right side up Nope that did not even work. I also tried to upload a pic to a post, and it came out upside down, so I kind of gave up on pictures on the forum. I already knew I was not that bright, but I did not figure I needed to reinforce that, every time someone saw a reply or post that I did!
RE: Gas leak ? - Lord Popgun - 07-14-2016 RWD, Cormanus fixed your pic and posted it somewhere so you could put it back right side up. I'll see if I can find the thread. RWD, here it is: http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8977&pid=141316#pid141316 RE: Gas leak ? - regularworkingdad_imp - 07-15-2016 (07-14-2016, 09:33 AM)Lord Popgun_imp Wrote: RWD, Cormanus fixed your pic and posted it somewhere so you could put it back right side up. RE: Gas leak ? - CIP57_imp - 07-16-2016 It's possible that your gas cap fuel vent could possibly be partially clogged causing an increase back pressure in the tank. If this is the issue and it gets totally clogged your bike will not run RE: Gas leak ? - chambftw_imp - 04-07-2018 Hello guys. I just had the same issue with my CB 2013. Based on the comments here, it seems to be related to higher temperatures. I just checked the bike this morning and there is a small stain of gasoline in the floor, but the vent tube (I assume this is the name of the small pipe below the bike) is completely dry. It looks like it leaked a little during the day, when it was warmer, but it stopped leaking during night due to the drop of temperature. Anyway, I'd like to know if the problem is gone, gaby. Could you please comment? Cheers, and have a nice Sunday, everybody! RE: Gas leak ? - Desert viper_imp - 04-14-2018 Juste trop de gaz dans le reservoir Gaby! |
