Absolutely right 73, that's what we normally do, check continuity with an appropriate load like a 12v light.

Just this time i thought as a second test it may be an idea to disconnect the oil pressure switch terminal and see what is happening at the led's supply side, if it was open or if some supply is still present, just an idea.
