I like the word and now use it constantly, mostly completely out of context but what matters is that it sounds cool.

I have actually. He had this awful custom painted ‘14 standard, I was cruising along home on mine when we crossed paths. Apparently he was going the same direction as I cause he merged right next to me, proceeded to do a painfully forced and poorly executed clutch up wheelie right next to me. He sped off and I followed him, not by choice but because he was going my exact route home. He then proceeded to literally jump the speed bumps on my neighborhood road, and just ride like the bike had an on/off switch for a throttle. This was very close to my house so the whole thing was very odd.
Someone please correct me if this fellow was not actually “hooning”, still not 100% sure of the definition.

A hooner in the community? That is a drag for the sake of at least the children and elderly.
That also means there is a probability you'll cross paths again and maybe suggest pointing them to the de-hooner.

Interesting subtle difference of the meaning of "hoon" in the UK.
Hooning about means riding your bike in an exuberant way . It is not a negative term , it does not mean anti-social behaviour and only applies to bikers ( as far as I know as I'm not really into the car scene ).
Hooning might mean , for example, riding an offroad bike in a field.

I did see an article where the writer was able to wheelie it. That seems impressive.
Geez, 100 counts against that hoon. Whatever you think, he definitely has hooligan, or hoonigan stripes. Every other wild rider seems a bit pale next to his antics. And no license !
