If I am viewing it right, alotta low end power is being traded for top-end in the 7500 RPM range? If so, just as well buy a (*bleck*) Suzuki sport bike or sumthin'. I think you’re misreading the chart. More power across the whole rev range, very little improvement at low rpm. About 2-3 hp gain in the middle/top end. That’s a good idea. RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - Ben70_imp - 11-23-2018 Not enough to warrant the mod, for my use. RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - the Ferret - 11-23-2018 Probably the most advantageous change in the Guhl reflash is not any percieved gain in hp or torque, but the removal of the top end restriction so it can realize it's speed potential. Reported to be more like 130 mph than the restricted 112 mph. Btw personally I don't need de- restricting. i've never even been close to 112 on mine with no plans to test it. RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - peterbaron - 11-23-2018 ..+1 , same here, max was 165/170 km/h... no need to go faster. Taken age into consideration and safety, CB is just perfect for me. If wanted to go faster, would buy CBR1000 RR SP, instead of flashing ECU for 25 more km/h. This is my choice. RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - GoldOxide_imp - 11-24-2018 Agreed. RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - LongRanger_imp - 11-24-2018 I'll pile on. Agreed! RE: ECU from Guhls/Dyno ready - Cormanus - 11-24-2018 Me too. |
