What do you guys do in terms of tire pressure? my stock tires have a max of 42 PSI; the bike was delivered to me with 38 in the front and 45 in the back...is that bad? I have 38/38 now.

I run 38 back and 34 front

36 Front, 42 Rear

And the sticker on the bike also says 36/42.....and thats where I keep mine.

of course that reading is taken before being ridden for the day, or at least not more than a couple miles in the last couple of hours.

Wow Wayne, that's 10 pounds above max rating on the tire. Hope thats a typo and you meant 36 f

Once again I'm ashamed to say, I have no idea as I've never checked. Feel ok though.

My tires are typically a couple pounds low over the course of a week or two. Bumpy roads may contribute. When the bike sat over the the winter the rear was 10 pounds low! Check your tires. The bike will ride better.
