I've been doing research on cruise controls and throttle locks for my CB. I've pretty much settled on one from Kaoko. Has anyone installed one of these on a 2013 CB and which part number did you get?
On the Kaoko website, the part number for our CB's is listed as HND30-19. In all my checking it appears that the correct part number should be HND100. I found others who have verified that HDN30-19 doesn't fit. Does anyone have any different info? I have found a company that has the HND100 in stock and want to make sure I purchase the correct one.
As always, thanks in advance for any info.

Can you buy it on the basis that, if it isn't right, they take it back and get you the correct model?
The only reference I can find to throttle locks/cruise conttrol in the archives is an Omni cruise control
I would suggest emailing customer service at Kaoko for correct info, then updating this thread so others will know.
I just canceled an order for a Kaoko through Twisted Throttle after reviewing the cited post. I explained the problem to the guy at Twisted Throttle and he was unaware of it. I really need a throttle lock as my arthritis is causing pain in the right hand on longer rides.
The BrakeAway is an awesome control. But it is pricey and like Ridem posted in a thread, is fiddly to install/adjust. Not hard, just kind of a pain. But it works good. I have one on the ST and just put one on my CB last weekend.
If you get one, be aware that the intstructions have a couple of steps that are not really correct and will result in it not working correctly.
Also, they say it does not work with heated grips due to interference with the wire for the heated grip.
And for ferret, yes I put the heated grips on the ST and I made the BrakeAway work. Don't tell BrakeAway

My friend uses the throttle crampbuster $10.95 made in Rogue River, OR about 30 minutes from where I live. Worth a try for the price!

I have those AND the BrakeAway. Crampbusters, or ones like it are great. Even had one on a scooter.
I found info that shows the 2013 CB500F has the exact same handlebar id and internal weights as the CB1100. The kaoko part# for the CB500F is HND100. So the HND100 should work just fine on the 1100. I started this thread in hopes of finding someone who has actually installed the HND100 kaoko on the 1100 as a last measure before I go online to Twisted Throttle and buy it.
