Thanks Mickey !
I'm going to try the "Bar Backs". Someone else on this thread used them without changing the brake line, hope it works for me. I will give a full report after installation.
Those are the one I bought. Good ole German engineering.
I finally added the SW-Motech Barbacks to my DLX today. I wish they were polished aluminum like the OEM parts, but a nice product all the same. They raised the bars 31mm and brought them back 22mm. Huge difference for me, allows me to relax my arms a bit, little bit of bend in the elbow instead of locked. Absolutely no cable or brake line issues, still adequate slack in all. I was back and forth to the shop a few times getting the bar camber and lever angles just right, I like it ! Now on to peg adjustments. The CB is a fine piece of machinery, best I have ever ridden (unlike the MultiStrada

, but it is not one size fits all. Honda really should offer factory accessories to change the bar and peg positions. The Indian Scout, which was next to the CB on my "short list" offered ergonomic accessories. For the records, I should add that I am 5'11 with 30" inseam.

They look good Alan. Would be nice if you could get them polished.
