I was cruising around on Samurider and saw this picture-






As I sat looking at this beautiful bike- I examined the details and something jumped out at me. The black headlight brackets. I then looked at a normal CB- and once you see it, you can't unsee it.

One of the cool parts of this bike is simply the traditional round headlight- but the silver brackets detract from that IMO. Just look at the bikes in our banner above.

So I bought a spare set of brackets and will be making them black.

I like that silver tank in the first photo. If you're going to have a blacked out engine and exhaust, that tank and side cover provide a tasteful contrast.

I also like the tank- but it would be better served without the fork gaiters, needs a nighthawk style headlight fairing, different seat- and my style of engine side covers and engine fins...

You guys and your mods are beyond me. I'm just happy to have a center stand.

I think black fork ears would look good with black headlight bucket as long as you had color matched side covers on your bike.

Yup. Side covers- black = color matched.

why did I have to see this? that top one gives me bike envy so bad I can't stand it!
