From what I understand, you can powder coat them at home pretty easily if that's your thing.

so glad someone posted this I've been meaning to show my black ears I had them powder coated last winter the guy charged me $50 and they look perfect I felt they stood out when they were silver

Mounted them up today- very happy with how they came out-

I used plasti-dip on mine a while back. Still holding up great. At one point or another i'll have them powder coated.

I used a semi gloss enamel spray- came out really nice, matches the headlight bucket perfect.
