I used the Search feature, to no avail . . . Think I will want to install a higher seat on my 2017 EX, and looking at the Samurider website, it is not at all apparent that they have offerings for the 2017 EX. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the new (seamless) tank has only been offered for 2017-up bikes.
I have no problem paying a lot for a higher, well-made seat, but if it rubs the tank or is in any way not perfect, then no. Having a stock seat reworked would be fine, but I won't chop up my original seat, and given that the stock seat is (I think) new for 2017, there won't be any takeoff seats available for a while.
The K&H seats for the earlier models look terrific from all the photos I've seen; they look as though they belong on the bike (near-stock appearance), rather than the "customized" look of the Corbin seats. I like the way the bike looks stock and will only make necessary modifications for comfort.
I love my K&H high seat on my 2013 Standard. I got the red stitching and it complements the red tank beautifully. Samurider is great to deal with and I would simply ask him if/when they will be available. (I also lowered the pegs and had a machine shop modify my rear brake pedal because I have long legs and felt I was crouching too much with the stock setup. I also raised the bars slightly with risers. The mods were well worth it).
I have not purchased from Sumurider (yet), but from what I understand, the guy there (Mr. T? not the one from The A-Team) is very responsive to emails. I think I'd just contact him and ask if they have the high seat for the 2017.

I corresponded with him 3 times this week regarding a new seat cover for my tall seat, and he was quick to respond. It did take a follow up email, as he wanted to sell me a new seat, when all I needed was a new cover.
He came back with a $ 300 price and I had to pass, as he wanted me to also ship my seat to him to have it installed

"Regarding your question, K&H is currently developing a new seat for a 2017 CB1100EX now, it will be ready to sell this month or next month.
I will let you know when we are ready to sell the seat."
