I have the K&H Low Seat from Samurider. It installed perfectly and so far have ridden over 2000 KM on it and appreciate it all the more. Slightly wider than the stock with superior foam. I can now go over two hours on the seat without discomfort.
I too would be interested in a taller (more comfortable) seat.
The K&H mid seat for the 2017 EX is for sale on Samurider....just about stock height
I, too am waiting for the high...
I ordered a K&H seat for my 2017 EX directly from K&H back in February. They promptly shipped the wrong seat for the 2017 EX. I returned the seat to K&H (they did reimburse $92.55 shipping back to Japan). The second seat was shipped by K&H and I received it in late March. The seat is much longer at the front end and fits VERY FIRMLY up against the tank. This in turn makes it difficult for the attachment device to close at the rear of the seat. I am working with K&H on a refund. They have requested numerous pictures at various angles. Does anyone else have experience with the seat on a 2017? At this point I would advise caution on purchasing one for a 2017.
An idea: I use black bleacher pad from a sporting goods store that costs $6. Two straps hold it in place, raises the seat 1", makes a big difference for me. It would allow one to see if that extra room makes a difference in the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. I tried 2 pads and found that to be too high unless I want to raise the bars as well.
I ordered the flat seat from Samurider and requested it one inch taller than stock. It arrived yesterday and it feels great. I'll take it for a test ride this weekend but the added height is great for my 37' inseam. It wasn't cheap ($640) but a good investment in the long run.
37" inseam? gads that would be up to the middle of my chest lol

Can you post a link to the exact seat please?
Thanks
I have this seat on my 2017. It takes a push on the back to make it snap. Doing this a few times and now it is easy to click.
Start by pushing the front end all the way in, then let the seat rest on the back. Now give nice beat down (use your hand like a hammer and hit seat back top). It should click in a few tries. Do this a few times and it is easy after that.

I use the same method to install the seat.
The seat strap is used to remove it.
