The new profile looks like an ol' late 70's CB or Kawasaki.

Yeah, the stock CB is pretty miserable up at top end and you feel it. But who often sustains 180 km/h?

Maybe this bike needs a "Normal" mode and a "Sport" mode profile switch.

I think you’re misreading the chart. More power across the whole rev range, very little improvement at low rpm. About 2-3 hp gain in the middle/top end.

How much did that run you? That’s a good idea.
Not enough to warrant the mod, for my use.

Thanks for clarifying dbd / ferret.
Probably the most advantageous change in the Guhl reflash is not any percieved gain in hp or torque, but the removal of the top end restriction so it can realize it's speed potential. Reported to be more like 130 mph than the restricted 112 mph.

Btw personally I don't need de- restricting. i've never even been close to 112 on mine with no plans to test it.

I can't disagree.
Same here , never got over 100 mph.
..+1 , same here, max was 165/170 km/h... no need to go faster. Taken age into consideration and safety, CB is just perfect for me. If wanted to go faster, would buy CBR1000 RR SP, instead of flashing ECU for 25 more km/h. This is my choice.
Agreed.
I'll pile on. Agreed!
Me too.
