Another thread another few wires to cram into the headlight.
This time to add a mount and wireless charging for my phone in the form of a quad lock.
Here are all the components, instead of the official quad lock power supply which senses the battery and does fancy stuff I used a dumb [url=https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B09B7XZYJQ]12V to 5V 3A USB supply from Amazon.

As if someone was planning for this there is a nice convenient connector in the headlight that supplies power only when the ignition is on.
It uses the SUMITOMO HM 090 connectors which can be found [url=https://aliexpress.com/item/4000883671545.html]here on AliExpress.

I used some heat shrink to cover the USB connection mostly just to keep it in place through all the vibrations.

And here's the final product works pretty well with the phone case.
The only thing I don't like is that you basically have to decide if you want to mount the phone horizontal or vertical as removing the phone is only easy if the longer sides of the puck can be grabbed around the phone.
This could have been solved if the puck had more of a plus/cross shape not just one longer orientation.
