The key number tag for my CB was 8 digits with only numbers 1, 2 and 3. I'd recommend contacting the vendor first and run your code by him as Honda has some codes that have letters and numbers.
Thanks milkmaster.
JMA Key was cut by locksmith using key code.Blank number Hond 33, HD 114.
Sold my 2014 standard and the stock and replacement keys went with it. Had two OEM Honda keys with the 2014 Deluxe but no key code. Contacted https://www.cyclekeysonline.com/key-code-info and sent key photo per instructions. He cut two spare keys using photo and sent them along with the key code. Both keys worked perfectly, cost $21.98 including postage. Living in area with few locksmiths that even have correct blank is a pain, this was a bargain to me.

Excellent. Thanks for sharing the experience, tomcat.
That’s impressive.
Amazing how many people use those red key tags "remove before flight", who have never been sitting in an airplane which needs those tags in the first place (and weigh under 150 tons at take-off Wink
