I put on a set of risers today giving me 1 1/2 up and 1/2 back. Puts me just about equal with the CB. I also did a custom design of my seat, took out the sport waterfall and concaved the seat. Used a electric knife to cut about 1 1/2 off, then an angle grinder to concave the seat and finished with a palm sander. I purchased a 1/2" of high end memory foam and covered the existing foam. Just returned from a test ride, great seat no more pressure points

I just order an allsport black non slip 4 way stretch cover, should be here Friday.

Wow ... Trying to make it into a CB huh? I keed
Love a guy who's not afraid to take an electric knife to his brand new bikes seat.

Holy crap! Very cool. Love that position program you've got there, too.
And you sir, also have cojones the size of casaba melons cutting up that seat like that!
Brought the seat to a upholsterer today, the seat deserves a professional look. Papa, here's the link to the ergo's site.

Picked up my seat this morning, Claude did a great job covering the seat and passenger to match. Used a Fuax Vinyl but shows as leather and looks much better than the cheap OEM cover. With the cover on the front seat is denser than the rear with memory. Push it in with your finger and it response slower than the stock foam. No more high spots, it fully contours with your butt. The seat is about 1" lower than stock which i wanted.

Well it came out nice. Looks like factory!
Its just so comfy just sitting on the bike. Contours perfectly, sits me forward just about 1/2 which I wanted and can just about flat foot with the 1 inch lower height. You also sit a bit more in the bike rather than on top.
The mods look great, very well done. A great bike made even better. Do yo have in mind doing anything with the exhaust?

Plans are to keep the stock exhaust it sound great, However, Ivans of Rockland one of the premier tuner for Kawi is about 30 minutes from my home.
This guy is all business, he just purchased a 2014 N1K ( imagine) and is in the process of setting it up to be flashed. All work is done in house with great results. The N1K Gen 3 had a 11HP gain completely stock after Ivan set the bike up and gains should be the same for my Gen 4. It does not reqiure a PCV but he does use a A/F piggyback controller for future updates which are free. Putting the bike back to stock is also free.
