Hello,
Question: When I start the bike the front turn signals stay on but the rear turn signal are off. I noticed that the rear turn signals only come on when I push the switch to use left/right or emergency lights (then all 4 turn signals blink). Are the rear turn signals supposed to stay on all the time like tail-lights?

No..only fronts are running lights and blinkers. Rear are blinkers only.

I thought there was something wrong and started to panic

I made the same mistake when I swapped out the rear signals for smaller ones. My first inclination was to jump on the forum and ask for help.
