I need 17mm for my Honda XR650L (primary target for this tool) but if I can use it on the CB - great! But I can't find the diameters of the front and rear axles so I can order the proper sleeves. You guys wouldn't happen to know would you?

Sorry mate, I can't help you. The shop manual gives run out limits for the axles but not axle diameter. Short of pulling the axles and measuring, maybe contact Honda.

Push come to shove I'll pull the axle's, but being a lazy sort I thought I could avoid real work. Most list on line are too dated to list the CB and as you found out, the shop manual has butkis on measurements save run out.
