when the gas tank is nearing empty and the last bar flashes the display is supposed to allow/show miles to empty (MTE) and gallons left.
i have ran the gas that low 3 times.
the first time the display automatically switched.
the last 2 times it switched but displays no information on MTE or gallons left. it just shows a dash - .
anybody with similar experience?
not sure if there is a reset or something else i can try.

What mode is the screen in? "Total", "A", "B"? Does MTE work/not work in all three or just total?

i usually ride with the screen on the instantaneous MPG.
when the last gas bar started flashing it automatically switched to MTE.
i can toggle through all other displays and they work/display correctly except the MTE and gallons left.
for trip a and trip b it gives: miles, MPG, and gallons used.
MTE and gallons left can only be toggled to when the last bar is flashing.

Hmm, this must only be a 2014 thing huh? I believe the 2013s just flash (no MTE).

try reconnecting the battery, it worked after I did that.

could be due to that, or could be working on its own

not sure about that, but worth a try
