Greetings to the forum.
The original chain on my 2016 CB1100 standard is almost stretched out after 50,000km. Thinking of replacing it with a DID ZVMX x-ring. Pitch 530/Links 110. Hope I got that right because it seems to come only with 120 links on various online websites. As for sprockets, my understanding is that the stock front is 18 and rear is 40 tooth whereas the stock rear sprocket on a 2013 CB1100 is 39 tooth. I would like to install a 39 tooth in the back and a 19 tooth on the front to tallen up the gears a bit. Anyone know if the 39 tooth stock rear sprocket on a 2013 would fit on a 2014+ standard CB1100? Also, where to get a 19 tooth front?
Am I on the right track before I start ordering stuff online?
Cheers...
I bought my three DID ZVMX silver plated chains from : Sprocket Center , very pleased with them and they could help you getting the right length. I stayed with the standard 110 links and did not change the sprockets (still in very good order as I went to new chain very early )
I also bought the DID KM500R Professional Chain Rivet and Cutting tool.
Probably other GOOD ! tools will also work , do not buy cheap ones as they often fail quickly.
