OK, we know that...but what about the bolt???
1. Cormanus, much to his own surprise, replaced the cover himself.
2. The bolt has never been seen again.

So I took it to Honda and as I suspected it was one of the transmission bearings. Lucky it’s still in warranty.

The only other transmission problem I remember was in 2013 in the UK. Can’t remember details, and it was on the old UK CB1100 board, but he got a new transmission IIRC.
Ferret might remember. He was was on that board too.
That's sad news, LoyalKhan. I'm pleased for you that the bike's still in warranty. It is fair to say that, from the evidence of this forum, serious problems with this bike have been rare.
Sorry to hear about your whining tranny LK664...but as you said: "lucky it’s still in warranty".
Let's know when your CB is fixed and back on the road.
