Doubts about the oil level. with filter change and L. 3,750 of oil, the level is slightly above the upper mark.
The workshop manual says L. 3,900!?Dodgy.
How do you behave?
Personally, I dump a 1 gallon jug in and don't worry about it for 4000 miles.
Yeah, I didn't measure either. Dump, run, stop, look at level, top up if necessary, done.

This would last until the next oil change in 12 months.

I like my oil level to be just a bit below the upper line.
Same experience. Did my first oil change today and ended up filling 3,7 litres. Level fairly much right between the lines.
I’ll admit that I’m in the “4 quarts and worry in 4K miles” camp.

I think I’ve looked at it a few times as long as I’m down there to lube the chain, and there’s oil visible in the window, so I don’t worry too much.

Did you also change the oil filter?

And what quantity do you put including the filter change?

ok, you only base yourself on the level marks and not what the manual says.
Ciao Enzo,

eng:
just done my annual service in order to keep the warranty ok; 2019 EX with 3850 km.. they put 3.8 liters of oil (1,004 gallons), and with the cold engine and standing on the center stand, the oil level window is completely full, way over the normale level.. I'm honestly puzzled if they put too much oil.

as I'm puzzled about the cost, for a simple oil and oil filter change: 201 euro (244,37 USD) !!

also, they used 10W-30 oil, which one do you guys use?
