I loves me the clunk. Being a vintage rider, having ridden mostly vintage bikes, I don't look at a display to tell me what gear I'm in. The 1st gear clunk is a great positive feel for having shifted down to first.....

I hear what you say, and feel for PB. But I've got double trouble myself to deal with. The Precious twins keep whispering from the dark storage place.
