Great pics. This bike truly is timeless perfection. I find myself taking the longest routes to my office every time I ride it.
I really need to try one of these rides "just for pleasure" that everyone here talks about =]

If you decide a custom seat is the way you want to go, check out this thread below. Seth makes a great custom seat at a good value $285.00 I like it much better than the Corbin's i have owned in the past.

Thank you for the info! That's $200 less than the Corbin; a much better deal. I like the bag on the back, too, but I couldn't see the brand on it. If you don't mind my asking - source and price for the backseat bag?

I have the 2013, but the seat did seem to get get more comfortable over time. Not sure if my butt just toughened or if the seat got softer. As far as the windscreen goes, I bought the Puig+ (light smoke tint) and I hated it. I appear to be the only one who has one that feels that way, though. For me, it seemed not to deflect the wind, but rather concentrated it on my chest and then direct it into my helmet. I tried several different tilt angles to no avail. I figure that I'm too tall (6'1") for this particular screen. I may try the National Cycle Deflector which my wife has on her bike, but frankly, I just got back from a week-long trip without any screen and did not have any problems. If you're interested in buying the Puig from me, let me know. There's a small scratch in it so I'd sell it cheap.
Is that the Universal Plus? Do you have a pic with it on the bike? I may be interested. Thanks!
anouther great ride over in that area is tortilla flat. go past saguaro lake to usery pass rd. turn left on usery and go8 miles to brown rd. turn left on brown and go 7 miles to apache trail, turn left on apache. 15 miles to tortilla.

Yes, it is the "universal plus". I think I have a picture of it someplace. IF not, there are others here that have posted the picture. I know I have a picture of it that shows the scratch and I will send that to you as well.

You know, I meant to ask you how your wife likes the CTX but then I got distracted by the windscreen. That's a pretty slick looking bike, too! Does she have the 700 or the 1300? It's one I considered buying but the CB1100 ultimately won my heart.
She loves her CTX(700). She just took it down to Deal's Gap and loved every minute of her trip. It's light and manuverable and gets 70+mpg. She rode my CB for the first time yesterday and I was excited because that could mean that we could switch bikes on trips (ssshhh she doesn't know my plan yet). She had a chance to "upgrade" to a 1300 or even an f6b, but she said she's got her bike of choice for the next few years.
Sue,
Its a Saddlemen TS1450R Sport Tunnel Bag
Fits right to the 4 tie downs no need for any straps.

Thanks! Looks like it would work out good for the bike. The Concours had side bags and now I'm lost without them. I had to have my hubby carry all my stuff on Sunday when we went out for a ride. A bag like that would be perfect.
Sue,
A number of saddlebags will fit. There are pics all over the site. The tail light placement can get in the way, but the way I mounted mine works fine. I don't really use them and they live in my closet. But I do use a top bag similar CIP's.
