When I think about all the motorcycle shops over the decades and all the bikes they packed in at night in the workshop area, only to unload them in the front, side and back parking lots - - I do not once recall any of them resorting to using a dolly. They just man-handled them manually and got on with their work day. At closing hour when the bikes were returned to secure storage, one could not walk between the bikes in the shop.

M'Lord, which bike out of the two you have will be so privileged to sit on this beautiful dolly, CB or ST?
Don't forget, I have two CB's and each sits on its own dolly....just a thought

I have another dolly that works ok with the CB but the ST is too heavy for it. I got the yellow one for the ST. Haven't had it on there yet though.

I saw a bike shop employee move several bikes into the building at closing time. He would straddle them and push them into the building, lining them up just inside the door on their side stands, then push them backwards, on the side stand and steering like a forklift, lining them up perfectly with inches to spare. The stand slid over the linoleum floor like butter in a hot skillet.

I believe it; seen similar. The folks want to close up shop ASAP and get on with home.

I just checked the STs weight, 650-740 lbs, depending on the version, wet/dry++
The yellow dolly will definitely take care of that load!

The service manual says for mine: Dry weight 666 lbs and curb weight 760 lbs. It is a pig until it starts moving.

But that's "road huggin' weight"
