thanks guys for responding.I am new to the forum and totally miss your guys respond the first time.thanks again.good riding.
Thumbs Up Hope you get your problem taken care of. That relay the Kmoney referenced seemed expensive though.

I know a lot of people have changed the turn signals. Other than the LEDs, did any of you have to get a relay like Kmoney showed?
I posted up doing a LED conversion using that relay. Resistors not a good way to go IMHO.

Talk about an over engineered turn signal system! Just the small difference between between the stock bulbs and 97LL incandescent bulbs causes hyperflash. Why couldn't Honda just use a normal flasher relay...

I was also too cheap to buy it, I just knew of it from here. I actually don't mind the hyper flash -- it definitely gets the attention of cars behind me when I put my signals on.
I'm sure other honda bikes use the same module as ours. I have seen modules for CBRs that look like similar plugs. I confess I'm too lazy to actually take the tank off and look! But they seem to run about $25. Much more reasonable

I did see another member get a bit perturbed by a post were a member admitted not using the signals because of hyperflash. With that, I'll admit that I don't use mine much at my own risk! I do however primarily use hand signals.

I'm not sure about WI, but in CA it is no longer legal to use hand signals if your vehicle has operable turn signals. I suppose it makes sense, because other drivers may not recognize a hand signal when they're expecting to see a turn signal.

Folks around here use turn signals judiciously, even when they're not required (like when following an exit ramp off the freeway or waiting in a left-turn-only lane at an intersection), and then they forget to cancel them.
