Agreed. The DLX stands tall.

The headlight has a spiral LED daytime running light. I have not walked down the road to see how effective it is on the highway.
The little green LEDs at the bottom of the dash to let you know you left the signal lights flashing are hard to see while wearing sunglasses and force you to take your eyes off the road. I notice the large flashing orange front signal light before the dash light.
The digital gear indicator is also hard to see in some daylight conditions, and the clock impossible. Maybe its time for a visit to my eye doctor.
The gas tank is designed to provide a 190 mile/300 kilometer range. I get flashed at 250 kilometers, so that's is a lot of warning to find a gas station. The tank has an aircraft styled filler cap. My gas mileage is improving. On my last ride I got 22 kilometers per liter, 62 miles per Imperial gallon.
Both mufflers hug the machine tighter for better clearance. The chrome headers are doubled walled to stop heat discolouration. Unfortunately small fried bugs take an inordinate amount of time to polish off.
The assisted slipper clutch requires 16% less effort. Certainly is easier than my CB500XA was, and the shifter is as well.
The chain guard is aluminum not plastic.
Owners are encouraged not to buy a lot of accessories for this machine, unless they are mag wheels. The Dunlop tires and tubes the bike requires are not available in North America, so we will have to trade in our 2017 EXs on something else after the riding season is over. Dumb Honda Engineers! Not my actual words.
