I am struggling to find out what side racks are currently available for my 2014 Honda CB1100 Deluxe.  I am finding racks for other years and models, but none that specifically say they will fit a  2014 Honda CB1100 Deluxe.

It seems like some racks that used to be made are now discontinued, such as SW Motech #KFT.01.331.20000/B

I know I may not have the luxury of being picky, but would appreciate it if anyone  can tell me what options that I have for hard cases and soft bags for my bike.

On a related note:  can anyone tell me if the 2014 Deluxes are unique to themselves as far as rack mount dimensions?  Or does the 2014 Standard, or 2013, or the RS, or Euro 2015, or etc. have the same dimensions as the 2014 Deluxe?

I really appreciate the help!  So far, I've found sourcing 2014 Deluxe side racks most confusing!   Cry
Don't know if you'd consider a top case rack, but there's a Givi for sale near me:

A couple of members seem to be hunting for side cases at the moment. (See: here)

I suspect, but can't say for sure, that hard cases may be hard to come by unless you can get stuff custom made, but you should be able to come by some generic racks that will support soft bags. That's what I did, but I haven't been able to find what I bought or where I got them. I know I bought a turn signal relocation kit from Amazon and the saddle bags in a local sale.
I'm lucky that my bike came with the Honda accessory top rack with added Givi plate and I have a top box already, so I'm good on that front.

I found a couple of siderack possibilities on WeBike. It sounds like they make them custom? But I still cannot tell for certain that they fit the 2014 Deluxe. The ad says 2013-2014 cast wheels, which fits my bike, so maybe, but I thought I read here or somewhere that maybe the Deluxe is a special case? (I don't know)

Actually, I just had a thought! I'll pop over to https://www.bike-parts.fr and check 2013-2016 part numbers for the all of the various OEM side bars under the seat and also look at pictures online of all 2023-2016 models to see if I can how unique that particular part is on the Deluxe. Maybe I'll find it's the same part on the Deluxe, 2015s, and 2016s, for example, meaning, the WeBike racks WILL fit my Deluxe. (I'll update this post with what if anything I discover.)

Hmmmm... I was going to add a screenshot from WeBike, but can't see the option to add a picture, so here's links to two side-racks purportedly made to order for 2013-2016 CB1000s with cast wheels:

These two are not exactly what I want, but beggars can't be choosers, and it'd be nice to at least have options even if imperfect.

OK, back on the hunt..... (updates if I learn anything).
On the information on the site, the chrome kit will fit, but the black may not. The key information is that they need to fit the EX models. From 2014 they had spoked wheels everywhere except the USA.

I realized something today: in trying to source side racks/cases, I’ve been looking at the Honda accessory rear rack that came with my bike in completely the wrong way. Instead of an obstacle to work around as I try to fit these or those side-case racks, they can actually be the beautiful solution.

The 7/8”diameter Honda accessory rear rack is a gorgeous monster--it looks and feels as if it’ll support A LOT of weight--so why not use it as part of a custom side-cases mounting solution?

Liberated from trying to figure out how to make the SW Motech, or Hepco and Becker and etc. side racks play nice with the rear rack, I instead spent $300 on $1000 worth of SW Motech clearance-sale product at Twisted Throttle today

First, I bought the cheapest clearance Trax Ion side racks ($150 on sale for $50), meant for a Honda Varadaro. While they won’t fit the CB1100, all that I want are the loops with four studs (which are the same across all the versions of the rack) that mate with the plates on the Trax Ion cases. I’ll undoubtedly be cutting off or modifying the Varadaro-specific mounting arms as part of the custom fabrication utilizing  7/8” QR handlebar clamps to connect the loops to the Honda accessory rear rack.

In addition to the Varadaro side racks, I also bought two SW Motech 37-liter Trax Ion LEFT-side cases ($444 each on clearance for $150) from Twisted Throttle, since all they had were left-side cases available.

Finally, on eBay and I bought a used and well-loved 46-liter RIGHT side case for $99, so that when everything delivers I can switch the mounting plates between the beat-up 46-liter right-side box and one of my new 37-liter left-side boxes so that when the dust clears I end up with a new set of left & right 37-liter boxes for the CB, and a used 46-liter right-side box to either resell on eBay, or keep, or Goodwill.

Feeling optimistic at the moment!

(...check back with me when everything is unpacked scattered about the garage.)
Where there is a will, there is always a way. I will be the first to congratulate when it is assembled. I can see it in my head, and you will make it happen!! David
Wow, looking forward to seeing the finished project!
Update:

I took a break from the side rack project in order to relocate passenger and rider pegs, figure out a new shift lever and brake pedal, and relocate the turn signals, all of these projects in the quest for a comfortable two up tourer for my wife and me. (You may see some updates regarding those other quest-related side projects as well, but for now just want to give a quick update about the side racks/cases).

As mentioned above-- since previously available CB1100- specific accessories are now discontinued--I've been forced to go a custom route, and have therefore ended up spending about $350 on $1,000 worth of clearance-sale SW Motech Trax Ion side cases and Varadaro-specific racks to try to adapt them to my CB:

Note: one additional complication requiring a custom solution is that only left side cases were available for sale (no right-side case), meaning that I'll have to adapt a left-side into a right-side case.

As you can see in this picture I've cut off all the arms on the Varadaro side racks, leaving just the main hoops that hold the pegs that the side cases slides onto:

[attachment=1371]

With the arms all cut off, the left and right hoops are actually identical to one another, perfectly symmetrical (the only thing that I need to acquire or fabricate is a bracket that the right-side case will latch onto).

What remained to be solved was a way to mount these hoops to the side of the motorcycle in a correct and secure orientation, and extremely luckily I think these may be the ticket:

[attachment=1372]

(It's lucky that they made the genuine Honda rear rack with 7/8" tubing, since this means there's all kinds of accessory mounts for 7/8" handlebars that will fit it.)

I don't need the whole clamp as pictured above, just the hoop part that clamps around the 7/8 in tubing...

[attachment=1373]

... and here's where they go:

[attachment=1374]

I'm pretty sure these clamps are in the right location so that I can just use a series of spacers and bolts to attach the hoops directly to them.

(I did a test holding up the side cases with my wife on the bike, and I think the position is correct, though spaces are tight given the exhaust pipes below and her legs above, so until everything is mounted and we actually take a ride, I may not know if my luck has held, or if instead it's take deep breaths and shuffle back to the drawing board.)

Once the hoops are attached to the rear rack via these two clamps, then I can determine what additional brackets I may need to make sure that the side cases are secure and aren't going anywhere when riding the bike.

Please stay tuned for further updates as my quest for comfortable two-up touring continues...
SW-MOTECH makes great gear. Incredibly well designed. Coupled with your enguiniety, I am sure the combination will yield a fantastic results. David
