It's been a few weeks since my last post, here's a photo update:
SW Motech quick-release side case attached to my prototype custom side rack (side rack comes on and off in a minute by removing three bolts.

1st ride, So far so good!
I even did a low-speed crash test (forgot the new width and clipped the side case on the way into the garage) with no damage.

Nicely done and pleanty of storage. You are ready for anything with that setup. The high-quality, metal cases look great on your motorcycle. No more crash testing, please. David
