i know what anybody might say to speculation but....


i'm speculating that this means there's a potential fire hazard that's been discovered. This is probably related to recent reports about similar electric vehicles causing fires while charging at home.

Hmmm, too bad, really for HD.

They should pull the PLUG on that electric bike !

Welp, that wraps up another attempt at HD to remain relevent. Even if it is an easy fix they will be hard pressed to sell any of these except to collectors and such. Early bad press will shut this down. I really don't think they wanted to sell any anyway.

lol - welp ... HD scooters I'd say. Think of all the new business from all the ["uncool"] riders?

HD vet "You know that's a scooter dontcha boy?"

HD scooter rider "Yes sir, I bought it."

HD vet "My sister has a 883 Sportster. She's more of a man than you!"

If they did a scooter just think of all the Sportster and V-Rod riders that will instantly feel more part of "the pack".

That's funny, but no chance...at least not for me as a former Sportster owner. I had 0% interest in any other HD bike when I bought an '04 Sportster...black and gold. I bought a Sportster because for me it was one of the few "looks like a motorcycle should" bikes at that time. But the dealerships' salesmen would always ask, "ready to upgrade?" when I visited. I told them that wasn't possible for I already had their top-tier bike.



Had zero desire to be part of any pack...it was just a darn good motorcycle.

I think Harley is trying too hard and moving too fast. The Livewire is a joke.
